Ganon is a boss that appears in Echoes of Wisdom.
Echoes of Wisdom
Ganon first appears during the prologue where he is the boss of the Suthorn Ruins. Link interrupts Ganon, who promises to put an end to both Link and Zelda.[1] A battle with Link then commences. Since Link is fully powered up during the prologue, he can easily defeat Ganon with just a few hits. After Ganon is defeated, he sticks his Trident into the ground before vanishing. The trident caused a Rift to appear, which soon after gobbles up Link and much of the Suthorn Ruins.
While Link defeated Ganon, an Echo of Ganon also serves as the boss of the Hyrule Castle dungeon. Ganon will warp around the room, using his double-sided Trident to attack Zelda. Ganon will also toss the trident out before then warping to another location in the room. The Trident will return to him.
Strategy
When Ganon launches an attack with his Trident, Zelda can side-step that attack and deliver a few attacks of her own, using an Echo or sword slashes. After a few hits, Ganon will then toss the trident out towards Zelda, before then warping to another location. This attack is fairly slow and Zelda can avoid it, dealing more damage to Ganon. You can also use bind on the trident in midair and bring it over to Ganon to stun him.
After some more damage is dealt, Ganon will begin to spin his Trident launching Fire Bats out towards Zelda. Zelda can avoid these attacks and get behind Ganon, deliver more strikes to the boss. The Fire Bats also drop swordfighter energy so get that.
When Ganon is low on health, he will create a small orb and launch it towards Zelda. Zelda will need to ricochet it back, using a weapon. After volleying it back a few times, it will stun Ganon, leaving him vulnerable for more attacks from Zelda. After attacking Ganon enough times, he will be defeated, leaving behind a Heart Container.
