Orange Rupees are large valued Rupees found within The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.
The Wind Waker
Orange Rupees first appear in The Wind Waker where they are valued at 100 rupees. There are a whole bunch of locations where Link can find orange rupees, including salvaging for treasure, playing mini-games, and inside specific hidden chests.
Locations
- Grandma's House - Link can crawl underneath Grandma's House to find a treasure chest which contains an orange rupee.
- Sinking Ships - For scoring 19 points or less and beating the record.
- Sword Training - For scoring between 300 and 499 points at Orca's Sword Training mini-game.
- Big Octo - Defeat the Big Octo at the Private Oasis.
- Big Octo - Defeat the Big Octo at Fire Mountain.
- Big Octo - Defeat the Big Octo at Diamond Steppe Island.
- Warships - Clear the two Warships just south of Rock Spire Isle and salvage the treasure to get a Piece of Heart and an Orange Rupee.
- Barrel Shoot - If Link wins the Barrel Shoot mini-game a second time and all subsequent times.
