The Iron Salesman is a character found within Spirit Tracks. He is a Goron and can be found within Goron Village where he sells Iron. The salesmen will sell Link a pack of 20 Goron Iron for 100 Rupees, which includes the cost to load up the Spirit Train. Link will need to travel Whittleton and deliver at least 5 units of Iron to the Lumber Salesman. While in the Fire Realm, the Iron will stay warm, but it will begin to cool down once Link leaves the Fire Realm. If Link successfully makes it to Whittleton, he can speak with the Lumber Salesman and will be rewarded with a Force Gem.
