Red Leevers are recurring enemies in The Legend of Zelda series. They are one of the weakest of the different Leever variants, first appearing in The Legend of Zelda.
The Legend of Zelda
Red Leevers are common Overworld enemies who frequently appear in desert or beach areas. They will spin around and occasionally burrow back underground. When they pop up, Link is able to strike and defeat them with two sword slashes from the Wooden Sword.
The Minish Cap
In The Minish Cap, Red Leevers first appear within the Wind Ruins. They have very similar appearance to their The Legend of Zelda counterparts. They will pop up from underground and spin around towards Link. Two slashes with the White Sword will do them in.
