Barles is a [[Hylian]] who can be found at the far southwest end of the [[Oseira Plains]] where she is cleaning up a pile of garbage. Barles is a traveler with an eye on keeping the beauty of nature intact. Whenever she travels to a place, she wants to leave it cleaner than when she arrives.{{Ref|''Tears of the Kingdom''|This is a rela pile of garbage, isn't it? Hard not to be upset at the sight. I spotted it during my travels, and the sight bothered me so much, I couldn't help stopping to clean it up. I believe that we travelers have a duty to protect the beauty of nature and not sully it with trash! Yep. When I leave a place, I want it to be cleaner than when I arrived. That's why I even travel with a broom, as you can see. Unfortunately, these tumbleweeds keep rolling in. There's just no end to it. I can't keep up! I do want to leave this place cleaner than when I arrived, so I can't just overlook all of this. The area of the Oseira Plaines is filled with garbage and [[Tumbleweed]]. The Tumbleweed keeps coming in, preventing Barles from cleaning the rest of the area. She states that if all the tumbleweed was cleaned up, she'd easily be able to clean upt he rest of the garbage, piece by piece.{{Ref|''Tears of the Kingdom''|If I could clean up all the tumbleweeds, then I could clean up everything else, piece by piece. To remove the tumbleweeds, Link can use weapons to slash at them, or use a flame based weapon, or a [[Flame Emitter]] to burn the tumbleweeds. Link can also attach one of the [[Fan]]s to a shield and blow them away from the area. Either way, Link can remove all the Tumbleweed, must to the delight of Barles.{{Ref|''Tears of the Kingdom''|Oh!
