The Ancient Greaves are a type of leg armor found in Breath of the Wild.

The Ancient Greaves have a base defense of 4 and decrease damage taken from Guardian laser attacks. They can be obtained by visiting the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab and speaking to Cherry, and exchanging 20 Ancient Gears, 5 Ancient Springs, 3 Ancient Cores, as well as 2000 Rupees for it. This trade can only be completed after the Ancient Furnace outside of the lab has been lit.

Set

The Ancient Set (also including Ancient Cuirass and Ancient Helm) increases damage done to Guardians, when all equipped pieces have been enhanced at least twice.

Enhance Path

Enhancing Armor requires that Link has unlocked as many Great Fairy Fountains as the desired star-level.
