The Swamp Tourist Center is a location situated in the Southern Swamp, Woodfall - one of the four regions of Termina - in Majora's Mask.

Majora's Mask

Link first encounters the Swamp Tourist Center shortly after entering the Southern Swamp. In the Tourist Center, he will initially only find the Swamp Tourist Center Guide, who is actually Tingle's father.

Link can't do much here on his first visit, but after he revives Koume in the Woods of Mystery with a Red Potion, she returns to her role in the Tourist Center running boat tours around the swamp.[1] If Link walks up and speaks with Koume after reviving her, she'll reward him with a Pictograph Box and a free ride through the swamp.[2] During the tour, the boat will run straight through and kill the Big Octo that blocks the path leading to the Deku Palace and Woodfall.[3] With the Pictograph Box, Link can also enter the Swamp Tourist Center Guide's pictograph contest.[4] Taking a picture of the Deku King or Tingle for the contest will win Link a Piece of Heart.

After Link has defeated Odolwa inside Woodfall Temple, the swamp waters are purified and Link has the Hero's Bow. This causes Koume to open up a new mini-game in the Tourist Center.

Mini-Game

Main article: Koume's Target Shooting

This mini-game is run by Koume, and is only accessible if Link has already cleared Woodfall Temple during the same cycle. The initial cost is 10 Rupees. Link must try to hit the target board hanging below Koume with arrows while traversing the swamp by boat.[5] The boat controls itself automatically and it laps the entire route of the Southern Swamp. To win, Link must hit the target 20 times; however, he must avoid hitting Koume. If Koume is struck 10 times, the mini game ends. [6] Upon completion the first time, Koume rewards Link with a Piece of Heart; while the second time she gives Link a Purple Rupee.[7]
