Ignizol Echo is one of the many Echoes from Echoes of Wisdom.
Echoes of Wisdom
"A white Zol with a flame on top of it. Anything it touches is set ablaze."
An Ignizol is the fire version of a zol, burning like a candle with a distinct wick on top; as with all enemy echoes, Zelda can learn the echo of it by scanning the shimmer left behind after defeating one with the Tri Rod. Ignizol echoes can be used to set enemies and objects on fire, making them a convenient way to light torches and braziers when required. The rain summoned by a drippitune extinguishes an Ignizol Echo's flame for as long as it lasts, however; this is particularly relevant when trying to light the braziers to enter the Hidden Ruins, as there are two drippitunes in the area.
Summoning one in the freezing areas of Hebra Mountain removes the need to drink a Chill-Proof smoothie to avoid cold damage as long as Zelda is carrying it, or it is kept within a very short distance of her.
Zelda must show an Ignizol Echo to Euca as part of completing the A Curious Child side quest.
It costs 2▼ from Tri's current count to summon an Ignizol Echo initially, this reduces to 1▼ when Tri reaches Lv. 5.
