Gut Check Rock is an area in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
Breath of the Wild
Link needs to pass Bayge's The Gut Check Challenge program to access the shrine. Having a full Climbing Set that has been upgraded twice will help clear the challenge much more easily.
The moat surrounding it acts as a Hot Spring, allowing Link to recover health.

Tears of the Kingdom
Gut Check Rock can be found well north of Death Mountain. The rock is surrounded by a river of hot water. At the very top of the rock, there is a Cooking Pot, as well as a partially buried treasure chest which contains a Silver Rupee.
South of Gut Check Rock, there is a Stone Talus that will come to life when Link draws near.
Just northeast of Gut Check Rock, Addison can be found holding a Hudson Sign. Link can use the nearby Boards and Lumber to hold the sign up. Addison will thank Link for help, giving him a Red Rupee, some Chilly Veggie Rice Balls, and a Sleepover Ticket.
Korok Seed
- There are red signs at the top of Gut Check Rock, pointing towards the pillar at the southeast of the area. Climb up and examine the sparkling lights to get the Korok Seed.
