Link's Awakening
Spike Roller is located in Tail Cave. Upon contact, it will deal one-half of a heart, and one whole heart upon contact of the Spiked Roller. To defeat, it will take about eight hits with the L-1 Sword. You must use the Roc's Feather acquired earlier in the dungeon to jump over his rolling log and strike him quickly. Spike Roller can be one of the easiest bosses in the game if defeated quickly. Sometimes, one can strike him eight times with the sword after hopping over the spiked roller one single time.
