Mogryph

Mogryph is a boss that appears in Echoes of Wisdom.

Echoes of Wisdom

Mogryph appears as the dungeon boss within the Gerudo Sanctum. The boss will burrow beneath the sand, before resurfacing and launching a sand attack out towards Zelda. Mogryph will also let out a large roar before moving around in the sand and charging right at Zelda.

Strategy

Zelda can get close to Mogryph and strike the boss directly, using the Swordfighter Form. Zelda can get close to the boss by avoiding its sand attacks and delivering a few strikes.

After being attacked a few teams, several large sand pillars will appear and Mogryph will take to the air, using its wings to fly. Mogryph will cause whirlwinds of sand to appear that Zelda will need to dodge. Mogryph will also try to drop down on Zelda, before burrowing back underground. He'll rotate between his various attacks.

Zelda can place objects when Mogryph is charging at her, causing the boss to run into them and getting stunned. While Mogryph is partially in the ground, Zelda can deal damage. After enough hits, Mogryph will be defeated and a Heart Container will be left behind.
