The Heart-Pounding Gravedigging Tour is a mini-game from Ocarina of Time. It is hosted by Dampé and is located in Kakariko Village Graveyard. It can only be played in the past. The rewards Link receives upon completing the mini-game includes Rupees, and a Piece of Heart.
Availability
This mini-game can only be played in the past, when Dampé walks around the graveyard in Kakariko Village. He only does this at certain times, as described by a notice just outside the graveyard:
"Heart-Pounding Gravedigging Tour! From 18:00 to 21:00 Hyrule Time --Dampé the Gravekeeper"
At other times, Dampé sleeps in his hut. Because the Sun's Song cannot target this time frame, Link must wait in Hyrule Field where time passes until the wolf howls signifying that it is 18:00. Then, Link can enter Kakariko Village to stop time, and from there go to the Graveyard and find Dampé walking around.
Tips
Talk to Dampé to play. He will ask Link if he wants to play his Gravedigging Tour for 10 rupees. If Link pays, he will dig right in front of him. He will even try to dig the pavement, so it is up to Link to make sure he only talks to him while he is in front of a patch of soft soil. If Link times it correctly, he will dig the soil, and a random reward will come out. There are various rupees, but the main reward is a Piece of Heart. Because the prizes are completely random, Link will just have to try a few times, however, although he has to pay for every dig, the rupees will often make the game actually profitable.
