Blue Goo Specters[1], also known as Blue Camo Goblins[2], are enemies from Link's Awakening DX and the Nintendo Switch Link's Awakening remake. They are one of three variants of the Goo Specter, including the Green Goo Specter and Red Goo Specter.

Overview

Blue Goo Specter is an enemy that hide on piles of blue colored floors. When Link is near, they will pop up from their piles to attack Link before retreat back down below. They appear only in a single room of the Color Dungeon, a secret dungeon found only in DX version of Link's Awakening, as well in the Switch remake.

Blue Goo Specters are the most rare of the Goo Specter variants. Only one of them appears in the game, found in the room just before the mini-boss battle with the Giant Buzz Blob. The Blue variants move ever so slightly faster than their Red and Green counterparts. After they pop up from underground, Link can strike them with his sword to defeat them.
