The Angler Fish is a mini-boss found within Jabu-Jabu's Belly in Oracle of Ages.[1]
Overview
The mini-boss fight is one of the few battles that takes place in an underground side-scrolling environment. Despite being a fish, the battle with Angler Fish takes place outside water. Angler Fish repeatedly bounces around the room, attempting to bump into Link, or occasionally shoot him with a bubble.
Strategy
The most effective strategy to defeating the Angler Fish is to use the Seed Shooter along with Scent Seeds. After successfully hitting the Angler Fish, it deflates and falls to the ground. Link can then run over and slash at the fish, hitting its antenna and inflicting damage.
