Smasher is a mini-boss found in the Crown Dungeon, the fifth dungeon of Oracle of Ages. Smasher attacks Link by throwing a heavy ball at him. Similarly, the only way Link can attack Smasher is to pick up the ball with his Power Bracelet and throw it at Smasher. Unlike in Link's Awakening, the ball disappears after a few seconds once thrown. After Link has thrown the ball on Smasher five times, it is defeated and Link is rewarded with a fairy, continuing the rest of the dungeon.
