The Desert Voe Set is an Armor set from Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity, and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

The Desert Voe Set is the male counterpart of the Gerudo Set, though it cannot be worn to access Gerudo Town due to the blanket ban on Voe entering the town.

The set can be purchased from Greta at the Gerudo Secret Club in Gerudo Town, it being the only place in the whole town where it can be worn. Alternatively, it can later be purchased from Rhondson, at the Rhondson Armor Boutique in Tarrey Town. Each piece of the armor set will give Link some Heat Resistance (it being more effective at it than the Gerudo Clothes), and once enhanced, it will give Link Shock Resistance.

In spite of its function as a desert garb, it lacks the sand mobility of the Sand Boots and does not offer Cold Resistance for the desert's chilly nights. None of its pieces can be worn to enter Gerudo Town.

In The Champions' Ballad DLC, the Desert Voe Set enhanced to ★★ tier will be given to Link in order to fight Thunderblight Ganon in the Illusory Realm. However, the equipment will not be available once the Blight is defeated.

Upgrades

The items in this set can be upgraded by a Great Fairy Fountain and cost Monster Parts to upgrade. Enhancing items requires that as many fountains as the desired star-level are unlocked. Upgrading the set twice will give it a shock damage resistance bonus.

★★ 8 5 × White Chuchu Jelly
3 × Ice Keese Wing
★★★ 12 8 × Ice Keese Wing
5 × Icy Lizalfos Tail

Dyes

The items in this set can be dyed at Kochi Dye Shop in Hateno Village. A depiction of the colors for each piece can be found on their respective page.

Trivia

  • Alongside the Hylian Set, the Desert Voe Set can be bought at two shops. No other set save these two has that availability.
  • Just like the Gerudo Clothes, the Desert Voe Set offers no reduced traction on sand or snow. For that to take place, the Sand Boots and the Snow Boots are needed.

The Desert Voe Spaulder and Trousers are once again available from the Gerudo Secret Club in Gerudo Town, although while the Sand Shroud is in place, Link must Ascend into the shop from the tunnels below. Prices have not changed.

The Desert Voe Headband - without the rest of the set, is available only from Saula in Kara Kara Bazaar.

Upgrades

The armor enhancement path has changed material-wise from Breath of the Wild, but still requires Link to have unlocked as many Great Fairy Fountains as the desired star-level. Upgrading the set twice will give it a Shock Resistance bonus.
