Great Sky Island is a location in Tears of the Kingdom. Unusually, it is not defined as being in another area, although it is near Central Hyrule Sky.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Great Sky Island is the first area of the game that Link can explore. It is here where he will meet with Rauru as he searches for Princess Zelda. Link will visit four shrines as he learns his new abilities, including Ultrahand, Fuse, Ascend, and Recall.

There are two Device Dispensers on Great Sky Island.

The first is at the southern end of the island, slightly east of and some levels below the islets with the Room of Awakening:
