"These clothes were treasured by a hero who travelled a vast ocean. They are naturally water resistant, have a whirlpool belt buckle, and are said to have been a gift from his grandmother."

Creating a Champion, page 193

The Hero of Winds Set is an armor set from Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, designed after Link's Hero's Clothes from The Wind Waker.

Breath of the Wild

The Hero of Winds Set is obtained by using the amiibo Rune to scan the Link (The Wind Waker) or Toon Link (Super Smash Bros.) amiibo. These amiibo can only be scanned once per day (real day, not in-game day). When scanned, the amiibo Rune drops various items, with a small chance of dropping a chest containing one piece of the Hero of Winds Set.
