Tri is Zelda's companion in Echoes of Wisdom. Called a "mysterious fairy", they give her the Tri Rod.
They have a series of triangles which float behind them. Echoes from the Tri Rod take one or more of these for as long as they exist. In the scene where Zelda receives the Tri Rod, Tri has three triangles, but in other scenes of the first trailer, this has increased to four.
