Nebb is a character in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

Nebb is a resident of Hateno Village where he lives with his father Nack, his mother Nikki, and sister, Narah, who all coincidentally have names beginning with the letter N. The family lives in the home at the far west end of Hateno Village. When Link first meets Nebb, he can speak with him to begin The Weapon Connoisseur side quest.

Nebb awakes each morning at at 8am along with his sister Narah. They spend almost the entire day, running in a circle just in front of the Ventest Clothing Boutique. They will only return to their home after 8pm, when Nebb is tired.[1] When it is raining outside, Nebb will return home and will practicing his sword techniques, using a Tree Branch.

The Weapon Connoisseur

Main article: The Weapon Connoisseur

When Link first chats with Nebb, he asks Link if he's from the outside world and mentions that he looks like he'd be good with a bow and sword. After talking to him, he will tell Link about his deceased grandfather and how he loved weaponry.[2][3] This will begin the side quest known as The Weapon Connoisseur, where Link will need to bring specific weapons to Nebb, the first of which is the Traveler's Sword.[4] While they are common throughout Hyrule, one can be found in the area just west of Hateno Village, in the circular area just west of the Camphor Pond. It is located in the ruins, just east of the trees. When Link shows Nebb the Traveler's Sword, he will be rewarded with a Red Rupee.[5][6]

The second item in the Weapon Connoisseur quest is the Fire Rod.[7] A Fire Wizzrobe can be found at the far east of Lake Siela, just south of the waterfall. The Fire Wizzrobe here will hold a Fire Rod and is one of the closest locations for Link to find the weapon. When Link shows it to Nebb, he will be rewarded with another Red Rupee.[8]

The third item in the Weapon Connoisseur quest is the Moblin Club.[9] The best place[Does this hold true with world level increases?] to find a Moblin Club is in the Forest of Time, located just northeast of the Great Plateau Tower. There are a number of Moblins here that wield Moblin Clubs. When showing one to Nebb, he will reward Link with a Purple Rupee.[10]

The fourth item in the Weapon Connoisseur quest is the Duplex Bow.[11] The best place to find one is on the path that leads to the entrance of the Yiga Clan Hideout. There are a couple of them laying around on the ground, but the Yiga Footsoldiers will also use them to attack Link. Once Link shows Nebb a Duplex Bow, he will be awarded with another Purple Rupee.[12]

The fifth item in the Weapon Connoisseur quest is the Windcleaver.[13]

Tears of the Kingdom

Nebb and his sister Narah are playing a game where they are acting as spies for A-Zoom. He's a hero who protects the village. Nebb is spy number one, with his sister being spy number two. This makes Link spy number three.
