Differences Between the Game and the Manga

  • The manga begins with Link in a village.
  • Link has a small chick named Piyoko that hatched on his grandparents' farm. Piyoko acts as Link's sidekick; she gives Link frequent advice and helps him through several trials.
  • Link finds Din in a village instead of Din finding him unconscious in the forest.
  • None of the dungeons from the game are entered.
  • Link doesn't gather any essences.
  • Link receives help from Maple and Ricky when battling enemies.
  • The bosses appear as random enemies sent by Gorgon.
  • Link only goes to Subrosia once.
