The Versus Books Official The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons & Ages Perfect Guide was a Strategy Guide for Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages published by Versus Books, an imprint of Empire 21 Publishing, Inc. in 2001.

Features

  • A Huge fold-out poster exclusive to Versus Books, covering both Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages was included in the initial release of the guide.
  • Later re-releases sold for slightly cheaper amounts, but did not have the bonus poster.
  • Double Sided cover, with each side covering one game.
  • Pages are flipped upside down after the half-way point, so it is designed that neither cover or side is the proper way of going through the book.
  • There is a two-page double sided foldout overworld map for each game. The Oracle of Seasons map has Holodrum on one side and Subrosia on the other. The Oracle of Ages map has the past and present of Labrynna on each side of the map.
  • Each side of the guide has a half-page ending dedicated to the combined ending of both games.
  • There is a two-page Ring Appendix in between the two guides.
  • The guide focuses heavily on detailed maps and numbered step-by-step instructions.
  • There is plenty of character artwork found throughout the guide.
  • A large text font makes the guide very easy to read through.
  • Password and Heart Piece index, making it easy to find these locations within the guide.

Other Notes

  • There are two different authors for the book, each covering one game. However, the rest of the guide staff is identical for the two games.
