Strade is a character in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
Breath of the Wild
Strade is a Goron traveler who can initially be found at Kara Kara Bazaar. He wants to travel to Gerudo Town, but after hearing of its difficulty to access, has been left stranded.[1] His traveling companion is Lyndae.
At Kara Kara Bazaar, Strade is seen sitting at the edge the water. He is facing north in the direction of the Great Cliffs, where he intends to visit Gerudo Tower. He is waiting for the sandstorm to subside before he makes his journey, having heard that this occurs for several hours out of each day—though he has yet to observe this.[2] Strade alleges that he spends all day watching for this phenomenon, quitting at nighttime to go to sleep.[3] It is after which fact that the sandstorm ceases at 9 PM.
Strade eventually makes his way to Gerudo Town where, in spite of the community's prohibition of admitting men, he apparently has no trouble gaining access. The reasoning behind this seems to elude him.[4]
