Meet the Imprisoned Monkey is a Hint Movie from Majora's Mask 3D.
Overview
Meet the Imprisoned Monkey is hint 5 of 6, as part of "Swamp" group of movie hints. After Link has planted and watered a Magic Bean, and the rides it up into the Deku Palace, the hint movie will become available.
The video shows Deku Link using a Bubble Blast to fight a Deku Scrub, and then using the Deku Flowers to navigate across the platform. Once he reaches the imprisoned monkey, his sword does no good, but if Link pulls out his Ocarina he can learn a song.
Solution
- After planting a Magic Bean east of the Deku Palace and watering it with Spring Water, ride it up
- Use Bubble Blasts from Deku Link to defeat the Deku Scrubs
- Launch yourself up from the Deku Flowers to navigate across the higher platforms
- Head through the opening at the end to find the imprisoned monkey
- Pull out your Ocarina to learn the Sonata of Awakening
