Hint Photos are Visions that appear in Majora's Mask 3D.

Majora's Mask

Within the Clock Tower, there is a Sheikah Stone that Link is able to crawl in. Link can then choose from the various visions which will guide Link towards finding various Pieces of Heart, as well as Stray Fairies. The photos are unlocked as Link progresses through the game. Additionally there are Hint Movies, which guide Link towards completing quests in the main quest of the game.
