Attack Explanation
Base String? Link performs a string of five attacks; He shoots a fireball ahead, shoots two in separate directions, shoots three in an arc, spins the rod around him, and transforms it into a blaster before shooting a large fireball ahead.
C1? Link summons a fast-moving inferno that travels ahead, knocking enemies back. Holding X / Y has Link charge up, before creating a small explosion in front of him.
C2? Link slams the rod down, creating a pillar of flame in front of him that knocks enemies into the air; This can be extended, causing Link to create a horizontal pillar in mid-air that catches the launched enemies, then split the pillar in half and rotate the pieces to knock them away.
C3? Link transforms the rod into a battleaxe and performs an upward swing; This can be extended, causing Link to perform a Spin Attack with the axe, then throw it in an arc around him.
C4? Link transforms the rod into a flamethrower and fires a burst of flames in front of him; You can use the control stick to aim Link left or right as he fires. This can be extended, causing Link to blast a fiery vortex that knocks enemies into the air, then summon a pillar of flame in mid-air to catch them.
C5? Link spins the rod overhead, jumps and slams it down, creating a magic circle in front of him. This summons a fire spirit that swoops around, hitting enemies inside the circle, before flying off.
Special Attack Link transforms the rod into a blaster and fires a pillar of flame into the air, summoning a fire spirit that swoops forward before flying off.
Focus Spirit Finisher Manual: Link raises the rod to the air before swinging it down, summoning a meteor that crashes down in front of him.
Automatic: Link transforms the rod into a blaster and raises it to the air, which releases his remaining magic in a fiery explosion around him.
Weak Point Smash Enemy Captain/Warrior: Link transforms the rod into a missile launcher and charges up, before shooting a giant fireball at his target.
