Farore's Wind is a type of Magic Spell that appears in Ocarina of Time. It is one of three spells Link can learn in the game.
Ocarina of Time
Like Din's Fire and Nayru's Love, Farore's Wind is a spell named for a Goddess - Farore - which is bestowed upon Link by the Great Fairy of Magic. The Great Fairy Fountain where he can receive is located in Zora's Fountain. Swim behind Lord Jabu-Jabu to a patch of land, where there are some boulders here. Throw a bomb at them to break the wall. Enter the Great Fairy Fountain and play Zelda's Lullaby on the Triforce symbol on the platform. The Great Fairy appears and bestows Farore's Wind upon Link.
Link can use it to create a warp point at the entrance to a dungeon room at a cost of 6 MP, and then freely cast it again at a later time to warp to the point he created from any dungeon (or anywhere in Ocarina of Time 3D). The warp point is single-use, and only one warp point can be set at any time, but he can recast the spell to recreate it as long as he has enough magic power, and can dispel it for free.

Farore's Wind is Zelda's default up special move in Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. In the Smash series, it serves as a short-range teleport move, which damages opponents both if they get caught in the disappearance or reappearance.

Farore's Wind is one of the three spells of the Goddesses that Link receives from the Great Fairies in Ocarina of Time. The other two spells are Din's Fire and Nayru's Love. It is probably the most useful spell of the three, as Link can use it to return to a point in the dungeon. It is very useful if Link is halfway through a dungeon and decides to stop playing for a while, because it allows him to return to that point in the dungeon instead of going back to the start. It also helps if Link keeps dying at a particular point, and wish to save time getting back to that point.
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U introduced two variant versions: Farore's Squall, which teleports farther and has greater knockback, but deals no damage and takes longer to happen; and Farore's Windfall, which can only travel directly upward, but meteor smashes opponents after reappearing.

To get this spell, head to Zora's Fountain and swim over behind Lord Jabu-Jabu to a patch of land. There are some boulders here. Throw a bomb at them to break the wall. Enter the Great Fairy Fountain and play Zelda's Lullaby on the Triforce symbol on the platform. The Great Fairy will appear and bestow Farore's Wind upon you.
