The weapon is found in two versions - Decayed and Intact. The former is simply identified as "Gerudo Claymore", and represents all versions of the weapon found on the surface, which decayed like all other weapons in the Upheaval. The latter is dubbed "Gerudo Claymore✨" and can only be found in the hands of shadow soldiers in the Gerudo Highlands Depths and Gerudo Desert Depths after Link has both used and broken a decayed version.

Both versions double the power of any item fused to them, but gain less durability than an equivalent non-Gerudo weapon. The decayed version starts with lower power and durability, but gains more durability from fusion than the intact version.
