"One of the items sold by the Gerudo jeweler. These earrings are made with amber, a gem that harnesses the power of the land to increase defense when equipped."
Amber Earrings are a pair of earrings found in Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity, and Tears of the Kingdom.
Breath of the Wild
Amber Earrings have a base defense of 4, and can be purchased from Starlight Memories, the jewelry shop in Gerudo Town for 100 Rupees, plus 10 Ambers. Their main use is to increase Link's defense.
Usage
Alongside the Diamond Circlet, the fully-enhanced Amber Earrings have the highest defense of all jeweled headgear, but unlike the Circlet (and unlike all other jeweled headgear), these earrings have no bonus effects.
The Earrings are assumed to be used with other armors to provide high defense as part of individual gear items that are not part of sets (like the Champion's Tunic).
Enhance Path
Due to the high availability and low variation of the materials required for it, the Amber Earrings are the most readily enhanceable of the jewel headgear in the game, making them a valuable item due to their high total defense when fully enhanced (28) compared to most other headgear (whose maximum range largely range between 16 and 20, save for some outliers like the Soldier's Helm).
Enhancing Armor requires that Link has unlocked as many Great Fairy Fountains as the desired star-level.

Tears of the Kingdom
Amber Earrings have a base defense of 4, and can be purchased from Starlight Memories, the jewelry shop in Gerudo Town for 1,400 Rupees.
The Earrings are assumed to be used with other armors to provide high defense as part of individual gear items that are not part of sets (like the Champion's Leathers).
