The Rubber Armor is a chest-piece found in Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity, and Tears of the Kingdom.
Breath of the Wild
"This armor has built-in electricity resistance thanks to its source material-an ancient marvel called "rubber." Such technology does not exist in this modern age."
A Rubber Armor has a base defense of 3 and provides resistance to electric damage. It can either be obtained from a chest found in the Toh Yahsa Shrine. Link will need to complete the Trial of Thunder at the Thundra Plateau in order to access the shrine, but clearance of the shrine is not necessary to obtain the Armor. After Link has acquired the rubber armor, it can be repurchased from Granté in Tarrey Town for 4000 Rupees.
Armor Set
The Rubber Set, which also includes the Rubber Helm and Rubber Tights, gives Link Shock Resistance. When all pieces have been enhanced at least twice, this will make Link invulnerable to lightning strikes.
Enhance Path
Enhancing Armor requires that Link has unlocked as many Great Fairy Fountains as the desired star-level.
