"Grants x-level gloom protection. An unusual dark-clump cake with a unique flavor that may be impossible to fully describe."
A Warding Dark Cake is a meal found in Tears of the Kingdom.
Tears of the Kingdom
Warding Dark Cake can be made in a lit Cooking Pot using Dark Clump, Tabantha Wheat, Cane Sugar and Goat Butter. If a fifth ingredient with a different effect is added, the effects will cancel out and leave the result as plain Dark Cake or similar once cooked. There is no benefit to cancelling out effects in this manner.
As a Warding meal, it adds a virtual Heart Container or Heart Containers which are affected by pools of gloom before Link's normal and Temporary Heart Containers; but does not protect from gloom-wreathed enemies' attacks. Cooking under a Blood Moon may enhance the effect.
