Red Octoroks are recorring enemies in The Legend of Zelda series. They are one of the primary variants of the Octorok, along with Blue Octorok and the more uncomming Golden Octorok and Purple Octorok.[1]
The Legend of Zelda
Red Octoroks appear as Octopos-like enemies who walk around on land. They appear in the Overworld and will shoot rocks out towards Link. They are some of the most basic enemies and can be defeated with with a single sword slash or beam from the Wooden Sword. They often leave behind Rupees or Recovery Hearts as a reward.

Oracle of Seasons
Red Octoroks have very smilar appearance in Oracle of Seasons as they did in The Legend of Zelda. They Overworld enemies who move very slowly and will attack by shooting rocks. They are some of the very enemies encountered in the game, appearing in the Western Coast, just west of Horon Village.
Oracle of Ages
In Oracle of Ages, Red Octoroks are some of the most common enemies, appearing throughout the Overworld, especially in the early locations surrounding Lynna City and Lynna Village. As in previous games, they are defeated with just a single sword slashes, even with the weakest sword.
The Minish Cap
Red Octorok appear as common Overworld enemies. They are identical to past appearances and will shoot rocks towards Link. A single sword slash will defeat them.
