The Natzu Deku Scrub is a character in Oracle of Seasons. The Deku Scrub can always be found within a cave in the Natzu region. The cave will differ, depending on whether Link has Moosh, Ricky, or Dimitri as an animal companion. Depending on the companion, the landscape of the Natzu region varies and the caves location is slightly different.
When Link visits the Deku Scrub, he'll be singing a song.[1] The scrub will ask Link if he likes the song, and if Link agrees, the Deku Scrub will reward Link be refilling his Seed Satchel.[2]
Deku Secret
- Main article: Deku Secret
In Oracle of Ages, after Link has completed the Spirit's Grave and acquired the Harp of Ages, Link will be able to access the Deku Forest. At the far west end of the forest, one screen south of the Mystery Seed tree, there is a Business Scrub that sells a shield. In a Linked game, a Deku Scrub can also be found on this screen.
After talking to this scrub, he will sing a song and give Link a secret. He asks Link to take this secret to the Natzu Deku Scrub, just west of Sunken City in Holodrum.[3]
After Link tells the secret to the Natzu Deku Scrub in Holodrum, it will increase Link's Seed Satchel capacity from 20 to 50 seeds. If Link already got the first seed satchel upgrade, it will increase from 50 to 99 seeds. Link then learns a secret from that Natzu Deku Scrub, which he can bring back to Oracle of Ages.
