The Kokiri Sword is the first sword Link obtains in both Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. In both games it serves as the weakest sword.
Appearances
Ocarina of Time
In Ocarina of Time, in Kokiri Village, Link is to find the Kokiri Sword and the Deku Shield to get access by Mido to entrance to the location of the Great Deku Tree, however, Link crawls into the small tunnel to the location behind Kokiri Village where the Kokiri Sword lies. Link then opens the Treasure Chest and gains the Kokiri Sword.
Majora's Mask
In Majora's Mask, Link already has the Kokiri Sword with him from the quest of Ocarina of Time. Link can later upgrade his sword to Razor Sword and later to a greater sword, the Gilded Sword in the Mountain Smithy in Mountain Village.
