The Akkala Citadel Ruins are a location found in Breath of the Wild, and are the remains of the once glorious Akkala Citadel. The citadel now contains three Guardian Skywatchers guarding the path leading up to Akkala Tower; therefore it is highly recommended to have Ancient Arrows to explore this area. South of the tower lies a Blue Hinox miniboss; the south side also happens to be the least defended portion of the tower. Near the Akkala Tower, there is a giant Pool of Malice, so be sure to make sure you don't fall. The tower itself is also covered with malice, making it extremely hard to climb up, on top of the fact that the region is known for being rainy, further hampering climbing attempts. Using Revali's Gale should get you far up the tower however, and then you should be clear of the malice.

From the nearby tower, fly south and pick up the rock near the second cannon to discover a Korok.
From the nearby tower, fly west, move the leaves, pick up the rock.
From the nearby tower, fly north and move the door with Magnesis to uncover a rock to pick up.
From the nearby tower, fly south, drop down below the cannons, remove the leaves, and pick up the rock.
History
It is said that the Citadel served as a “Last Stand” for Hyrule. This place was where the last battle of the fight against Calamity Ganon's Guardians took place.
