The spears can often by found at Bokoblin or Lizalfos camps, being used to skewer and roast various types of fish.
The weapon is typically used by Bokoblins on the Great Plateau and its surrounding areas, as well as the Dueling Peaks Tower and Hateno Tower regions. With a base power of 2, it is the weakest Spear in the entire game, as well as being one of the least sturdiest.
