The Braced Shield is an item appearing in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
The Braced Shield is second and last upgrade to the wooden type of shield. It can be crafted by taking your Banded Shield to Gondo, the Scrap Shop owner and paying him 50 Rupees along with the necessary items to upgrade it.
This shield offers a much greater resistance to attacks than the Banded Shield. This Shield will also protect against electric attacks, but still won't block fire attacks and will burn to ashes because its still made of wood.
