Daval Peak is a location in Breath of the Wild. Located at the far south end of the Gerudo Highlands, just south of Mount Granajh and east of the South Lomei Labyrinth, Deval Peak's higher elevations are a bit cold and Link will need Cold Resistance in order to survive.
Unsuprisingly given the climate, there are largely cold-weathered animals and enemies, such as Cold-Footed Wolves and Ice-Breath Lizalfos. Between 6am and 6pm everyday, the area has abundant sunshine, with more variable weather taking place in the late evening and overnight hours.
At the southwest area of the peak, there is a treasure chest buried in the snow. Link can pull it out with Magnesis to find a Purple Rupee.
Secret of the Snowy Peaks
- Main article: Secret of the Snowy Peaks
On the side of the peak to the north, there is a pedestal. After reading the Mountain Peak Log at the cabin just to the north, this will begin the Secret of the Snowy Peaks shrine quest. At 4pm, Link will need to hold a snowball up, with its shadow casting right at the center of the pedestal. Successfully doing so will complete the shrine quest, revealing the Suma Sahma Shrine.

Catch the fairy lights.
Stand near the pinwheel and pop the erratically moving balloon.
Melt the ice and examine the fairy lights.
All the other koroks do rock circles. This one thought it would be hip to be square. Complete it for a seed.
