Overview
Teli is a traveling treasure hunter and merchant who deals in Ancient Material. He lives in Hateno Village, but travels along the path all the way to Fort Hateno. He goes out that way to collect ancient materials from the Guardian remains found near Fort Hateno.[1] Teli is quite vain, referring to himself as having roguish good looks.[2]
He does have knowledge of Ancient Parts and does business with the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab, all the way at the northeast part of Hyrule, claiming that it is half of his business.[3] However, Teli sometimes wonders what the researchers around Hateno do all day long.[4] He is always around Ancient Materials, so much so that the smell of grease that is on the materials follows him around.[5]
Teli will give Link directions, depending on where he is, including how to get to Fort Hateno.[6] Unlike many other travelers, Teli does not have any weapons with him and will run away if enemy Bokoblin or Stalkoblin appear.[7][8]
When Teli arrives at Hateno Village, he will make his way over to The Great Ton Pu Inn where he will sit down and take a break before venturing off back to Fort Hateno.
