Overview
The Ancient Shaft is a material found in Breath of the Wild. It can be obtained by defeating almost all types of Guardians, with the exception being the Guardian Scout I. Additionally, Link can find an Ancient Shaft by examining a decaying guardian, as well as by lifting legless guardians that are in the water, using Cryonis. Additionally, Link can purchase Ancient Shafts from the traveling merchant Teli.
