Boxes and crates look very similar, if not the same, in every [[Zelda]] game. They are brown or tan, cube-shaped, and have some sort of marking on them -- usually a 'X' shape or a cross.

Related Jars, crates

Boxes and crates are found in some Zelda games, including Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. They are related to jars, as Link can smash both to get small goodies.

Locations and Uses

Boxes and crates are not found in remotely every building as are jars, but they are found in some buildings and homes. Link can cut, smash, or break boxes and crates to get small, random goodies such as Rupees, Recovery Hearts, bombs, and arrows.
