Hero of Winds

The Hero of Winds is a reference from The Wind Waker. Throughout the game, your character hears about this hero and later it is understood that you have become the Hero of Winds. When beginning the game, you do not start out as the hero, you only hear about tales of the past. The Hero of Winds title once belonged to an ancient story about a boy that was able to save the world. During game play, your character, Link, takes over this role as you proceed through the temples.
