The Clock is an item found randomly in The Legend of Zelda. This item sometimes appears after Link has killed an enemy, and has a very useful purpose. If Link is able to collect it, time is basically frozen. All enemies on the screen are frozen,[1] making them very easy to kill. This item is especially useful in screens with lots of enemies, but because of its randomness in terms of appearance, it cannot be relied upon much. This item acts very similarly to the Boomerang from A Link to the Past, which would freeze any enemy it can come in contact with.
