Green Bokoblin are a variant of Bokoblin, appearing in The Wind Waker, Skyward Sword, and Cadence of Hyrule.[1]

The Wind Waker

Green Bokoblin are stronger variants of Bokoblin, usually wielding both a sword and a shield. Though they wield a sword of their own, if they lose their sword, they can also pickup any nearby weapons that are dropped. When defeated, they have the potential to drop a Joy Butterfly as a Spoil. Though they have a shield, basic sword attacks, as well as the Jump Attack, Spin Attack, or Parry Attack will break right through their shield defense.

The first Green Bokoblin is encountered in the Forsaken Fortress, found right where Link reacquires his Hero's Sword. Later, a pair of Green Bokoblin can be found in Dragon Roost Cavern, where they are guarding Medli. More Green Bokoblin are commonly found throughout Link's journey.
