Hey, you! Listen up, and I’ll tell you how our story begins…

Once upon a time there was a kingdom called Hytopia. At the heart of this fashion-obsessed land was the lovely Princess Styla.

The people adored their fair princess… but the Drablands witch despised the girl’s unbearably cute fashion sense.

One fateful day, a beautifully wrapped gift arrived at the castle.

The sender was unknown, and the box was brimming with an aura of mystery. The princess simply had to open it! Naturally, this was a HUGE mistake.

When the smoke cleared, Styla was met with a terrible sight, followed by the witch’s voice in her pretty head: “A perfect outfit for a perfect princess.”

This cursed outfit of ultimate ugliness could not be removed no matter how the princess tried. Humiliated, she fell into misery and isolation. The people of Hytopia wept for her terrible fate.

The king, too, was in agony. As only chosen heroes may enter the witch’s domain, the despicable Drablands, King Tuft issued a call to kingdoms near and far for a hero to save the day.

Luckily, it wasn’t long before this courageous young fella came passing through…

Do you have pointy ears, truly epic sideburns, and side-parted hair? If so, YOU may be a Tri Force Hero!

Our kingdom needs such heroes to defeat the evil witch and lift the curse placed on Princess Styla.

Whoever succeeds in this most noble of tasks will be rewarded to the fullest extent of my extensive power.

I work over at Madame Couture’s clothing shop. Madame’s outfits are famous for their magical properties.

Princess Styla used to be her biggest fan until…you know. Poor lass.

Speaking of fashion curses… May I speak plainly?

Er, sorry about that. To be honest, lots of would-be heroes have come and gone. Madame has lost faith.

Not a single one of those phonies has even come close to defeating that awful witch.

Not only is poor Princess Styla cursed, but we’ve stopped receiving clothing orders from the castle altogether.

There’s also a rumor going around that being stylish will get you cursed, so business is at an all-time low.

Needless to say, Madame is in a bad mood…

Thanks to this curse nonsense, no one is buying my clothes. Even now, only one customer in le dressing room…

It’s unheard of, my dahlings!

Don’t let her attitude fool you. She’s amazing at her craft! Incomparable, as it were.

If you provide quality materials and a fair amount of Rupees, she’ll make you the nicest outfits you’ve ever seen.

The long and short of it is that something MUST be done to save the princess from her curse!

If this…style newcomer is truly the hero fated to defeat the witch, I shall cooperate in any way I can.

He’s always looking for potential recruits, but be forewarned… I hear he’s rather intense.

Hm? I see, I see. It's only natural to be curious about the legend of the Tri Force heroes, my boy.

Their tales have been passed down through the ages in our fair Hytopia.

When the kingdom of Hytopia falls into despair, three courageous heroes shall ever arrive to save the day...

This statue is in recognition of their struggles and triumphs, both past and future.

Three heroes working together to save the day... In a way, this here statue represents love!

Hm... This statue certainly looks quite a lot like you, wouldn't you say?

The princess of our kingdom, Styla, used to be the fairest, most stylish creature in all the land.

But the witch of the Drablands cursed her, and now she's... Oh, it's simply unspeakable!

Ever since, all of Hytopia lives in fear of the curse. They're all resisting their fashion urges. It's not healthy, I say!

I, for one, cannot live that way! That's why I've cut my stylishness in half. It's the most I can do.

Hm? What's this? What is THIS? A young lad already in search of Madame's high fashion? Good show!

Madame Couture’s shop is over there, my boy.

Madame Couture’s is a top-class store. Even the royal family goes there for their royal clothing needs!

This outfit is the work of Madame, as well. She doesn't know I've cut it in half yet... *gulp*

The curse is horrifying, so all beardly fashion is half off! I'm not cold at all. Not a bit!

I have no doubt the hero will arrive once more, just like in the legends.
