Lucky Numbers

Lucky Numbers is an event in Majora's Mask.

Majora's Mask 3D

After acquiring the Bombers' Notebook, one of the Bombers will run up to Link and give him a Rumored Event. He mentions that if Link correctly guess the lottery numbers on a given night, he can score a lot of rupees.[1]

The quest involves playing the Lottery at the Lottery Shop each day, then checking the winning numbers each night. The winning numbers will be marked in the Bombers' Notebook in the Lucky Numbers event. These numbers differ in every save file. Thus, it requires Link to play the lottery for 10 rupees, check the results, and repeat the process for all three days. Then on a different three-day cycle, Link can play the lottery again, this time selecting the correct numbers, and returning each evening. As a reward for guessing the correct numbers, Link will earn 50 Rupees, netting him a 40 Rupee gain. If he does this all three days, he will earn 120 rupees. Given the amount of time it takes to complete the lottery, and continiously playing the Song of Double Time, this is not an efficient way of grinding rupees.

Win the Lotto

  • Enter the Lottery Shop on Day 1, 2, and 3 and play the lottery each day
  • Re-Enter the Lottery Shop on Night 1, 2, and 3 to find out the correct winning numbers, which will be marked in the Bombers' Notebook
  • In a new 3-day cycle, play the Lottery again each day, this time selecting the winning numbers
  • Return each night to win 50 rupees as your reward
