The Ghastly Doll is the third item of the trading sequence in Oracle of Seasons. It is the doll of Maple, Syrup's apprentice. It is a very creepy doll,OoS which makes one wonder why Maple would have it.

The Ghastly Doll can be obtained after Link has acquired the Lon Lon Egg from Malon. With the Lon Lon Egg in hand, Link must travel to any of the Maple trigger point across Holodrum. If Link has defeated 30 enemies, Maple is seen flying around the screen. By intentionally bumping into her, Maple and Link both fall to the ground, causing the Lon Lon Egg to fall as well. While yelling at Link for bumping into her, Maple sees the Lon Lon Egg. Once she identifies it, she says that that egg is what she has been looking for and takes it, giving Link her doll in exchange. This doll turns out to be the Ghastly Doll.

The Ghastly Doll can now be used to acquire the fourth item in the trading sequence, the Iron Pot. The next person in the sequence is Mrs. Ruul, the wife of the mayor of Horon Village, Mayor Ruul. She can be found alone in her villa in Holodrum Plain. When approached, Mrs. Ruul tells Link that it's very hot, and that even her famed Soothing Pool can't help cool her down. She says she needs something really creepy, something to send chills down her spine. If she sees the Ghastly Doll, she says it's so creepy that it gives her chills, and asks to have it.OoS As thanks, she gives Link the Iron Pot.OoS Furthermore, she also allows Link to take a swim in her Soothing Pool.OoS

The Ghastly Doll is the third item of the trading sequence in Oracle of Seasons. To obtain the Ghastly doll, Link must already have the Lon Lon Egg. When Link has the Lon Lon Egg and has defeated thirty enemies, Maple will appear at almost any screen in Holodrum. If Link bumps into her, she will take the Lon Lon Egg and give Link the Ghastly Doll.
