There are two Heart Pieces located in the immediate area around the Eldin Spring. The first is up high on a cliff to the east (Wii) side and requires Bomb Arrows and the Gale Boomerang. The second is situated at the back of the spring and can be accessed by blowing up a boulder that is just below the previous location of the Piece of Heart and following that tunnel until Link reaches a small, but deep, pool of water. Link can equip the Iron Boots to sink to the bottom of the water. At the bottom there lies a Treasure Chest, and inside is another Piece of Heart.
