*In ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening|Link's Awakening]]'', the [[Trendy Gamester]] has the same exact sprite as the [[Raft Shop Owner]], except the Trendy Game owner is wearing blue instead of green in the [[The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX|DX version]] of the game. Both bear a strong resemblance to [[Takamitsu Kuzuhara]], one of the developers of ''Link's Awakening''.

Known as the "Trendy Game Shop Owner" in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Encyclopedia]]'', the character was renamed as the "Trendy Gamester" in the [[The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening|2019 remake]].
