It is easily the most powerful weapon Link can use in ''The Legend of Zelda'', as it does twice as much damage as the [[White Sword]] and four times as much damage as the [[Wooden Sword]].{{Ref|''[[The Legend of Zelda]] Game Manual'', pg. 19}} The Magical Sword can be obtained once [[Link]] has accumulated 12 [[Heart Container]]s. In the First Quest, he can take those 12 Heart Containers and head to the [[Graveyard (The Legend of Zelda)|Graveyard]], where, in the top-right screen of the Graveyard, he can push a specific grave to reveal a hidden underground area. Inside, the [[Old Man]] says to Link, ''"Master using this and you can have it."''{{Ref|LoZ|42|[[Old Man]]}} If Link has 12 Heart Containers, he is able to pick up the sword. However, if he has less then 12 Hearts, he is unable to claim it as his own. Using the Magical Sword makes most enemies very simple, as one hit kills most enemies easily.
